Bluff Bash is a free community event in La Crosse, Wisconsin that celebrates the area’s natural and outdoor recreation opportunities. The City of La Crosse Parks, Recreation, and Forestry hosts the event.
Sunday, August 18th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Upper Hixon Forest Trailhead & Pump Track, on County Road FA, LA Crosse WI 54601.
Bluff Bash will feature various family-friendly activities including guided hikes, face painting, yard games, and activities from local outdoor recreation organizations and businesses. Enjoy live music by Bryce Thomaschefsky from 5-7pm while grabbing dinner from Taco Town or Batter & Brews food trucks. In addition to these activities, there will also be educational opportunities from the forestry department including proper tree planting displays and tree climbing activities. Admission to the Bluff Bash is free and all ages are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to prepare for an evening outdoors, bring blankets and lawn chairs for picnicing, bicycles for use on the trails and pump track, and hiking attire for guided hikes.
