The Nature Place operates using the urban ecology model pioneered by the Urban Ecology Center® in Milwaukee, WI, and captured in the book Urban Ecology by Ken Leinbach. The urban ecology model uses data-driven methods for creating the container where people and nature can connect in an impactful way that benefits both humans and our natural world.

To stay inside sipping a cup of coffee by the fire, enjoying the view through towering windows. To connect with the land wandering through native gardens around the building.
