Bird with some expert birders (from the Coulee Region Audubon Society ) in Hixon Forest. Start at the Hixon Forest Trailhead. From Highway 16 in La Crosse, WI turn onto Bluff Pass Road and then turn right on Milson Court and follow that road to the Hixon Forest Trailhead parking lot. The program is best suited for ages 14+ with an adult. Bring your binoculars and dress for the weather. You don’t need any birding experience.
