Details:
A guided Forest Bathing walk is a gentle, immersive experience designed to relax and recharge the body and mind. We will walk less than a mile on relatively level ground. This program is appropriate for ages 16+ and can be modified to accommodate all physical abilities. You can learn more about Forest Bathing by visiting here: www.anft.earth. These walks will be offered monthly – feel free to join one, a few, or all of them!
Char Peterson and Kati Thompson are both certified Forest Therapy Guides, having received their certification through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT).
Char is a lifelong learner of a variety of healing modalities that recognize, focus, and encourage the recovery of our sense of the Sacred in all Creation. She has been encouraging others to cultivate an intimacy with the Earth and the other than human beings that we share this Earth with for a number of years through her retreats. She is a retired hospice chaplain and is certified as a ANFT Forest Therapy Guide.
Kati feels most alive in nature. She enjoys inviting others to foster their connection and relationship with the more than human worlds and has been guiding walks since 2022. In addition to being a certified Forest Therapy Guide, she is also a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, a Wisconsin Master Naturalist, and has more than a decade of experience working in Behavioral Health and with people with disabilities. She is the operator of RejuveNature Forest Bathing. You can learn more here: www.rejuvenature.earth
