This month’s presentation: “Driftless Birds,” A Presentation by Craig Thompson (WIDNR)
North America has lost more than 3 billion birds since 1970. Despite widespread population declines, the Driftless Area continues to support continentally important populations of migratory birds. Driftless Birds was established in 2024 to keep our woods and wetlands filled with birdsong. This presentation will examine the reasons behind the losses and offer opportunities to engage in collaborative conservation on behalf of our beloved birds.

Also this month everyone is welcome to the annual meeting of the Friends of the La Crosse River Marsh. Refreshments will be served.
