  “Driftless Birds\,”  A Presentation by Craig Thompson (WIDNR)\n\nNor
 th America has lost more than 3 billion birds since 1970.  Despite widesp
 read population declines\, the Driftless Area continues to support contine
 ntally important populations of migratory birds.  Driftless Birds was es
 tablished in 2024 to keep our woods and wetlands filled with birdsong.  T
 his presentation will examine the reasons behind the losses and offer oppo
 rtunities to engage in collaborative conservation on behalf of our belove
