The Coulee Region Audubon Society holds monthly meetings and programs from September to June at The Nature Place. Join them to enhance your bird knowledge every month. Different topics and speakers every month! Recommended for ages 14+ with accompanying adult.

This month join Bat Ambassador Heather Mishefske to learn why you want bats in your neighborhood.  Native pollinators are getting a lot of well-deserved attention, but bats are rarely mentioned. Did you know bats are important pollinators for over 500 species of plants? Some can also eat up to 1,000 small insects in an hour.  Heather Mishefske is a Wisconsin Master Naturalist, trained by the DNR to conduct bat outreach as part of their Wisconsin Bat Ambassador program. She is also the owner of local business emBark, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, and a Certified Behavior Consultant.
