SUMMARY:Birding Program
DESCRIPTION:The Coulee Region Audubon Society holds monthly meetings and pr
ograms from September to June at The Nature Place. Join them to enhance yo
ur bird knowledge every month. Different topics and speakers every month!
Recommended for ages 14+ with accompanying adult.\n\nThis month join Bat A
mbassador Heather Mishefske to learn why you want bats in your neighborhoo
 d.  Native pollinators are getting a lot of well-deserved attention\, but
bats are rarely mentioned. Did you know bats are important pollinators fo
r over 500 species of plants? Some can also eat up to 1\,000 small insects
in an hour.  Heather Mishefske is a Wisconsin Master Naturalist\, traine
d by the DNR to conduct bat outreach as part of their Wisconsin Bat Ambass
ador program. She is also the owner of local business emBark\, a Certified
Professional Dog Trainer\, and a Certified Behavior Consultant.\n\n&nbsp\
