Gardens & Grounds Assistant
She/they/theirs
Jensen was born and raised in Wisconsin with a deep appreciation for nature and native plants built by so many childhood camping trips and hours of gardening in her mom's plant beds. This led her to graduating in 2026 with a degree in Ecology and Environmental Biology from UW- Eau Claire. Through her classes on plants and insects and her research on bumblebees she further developed her passion for conservation and science communication.
At the The Nature Place Jensen hopes to learn more about native plant conservation as well as how to make science more accessible. In her free time Jensen loves to sew, collage, crochet, read, cook, hike, and bike!
