La Crosse has been Erica's home since she moved here on a whim in 2006, but she has previously lived in Madison (college), northwestern IL (age 11-19), and the Minneapolis suburbs (birth-10). She's a full- blown Midwest gal! Erica has a Bachelor's Degree from UW-Madison in Conservation Biology & a Certificate in Environmental Studies. Although her jobs have not always been in her field, Erica has been involved in the local Earth Fair since 2009 and volunteers her time for other local organizations. She began working at The Nature Place in June of 2022, and hasn’t been happier since! In her free time, she enjoys nature, being outdoors, bicycling, hiking, spending time with her dog Gizmo plus friends and family. She is also an avid lover of puzzles, and tries to live a fairly sustainable lifestyle.
