Community Programs Educator
He/They/Him
Felix was born and raised here in the La Crosse area and was a hairstylist for eight years before changing career paths. Felix has always had a passion for wildlife and environmentalism, so when they saw the sign-ups for our Nature Summer Day Camps, they applied to become one of our Environmental Educators. Felix fell in love with our programs and our mission to get people more involved and connected to nature. They are now serving the 2026-2027 AmeriCorps term, but this time in Community Programming.
Felix is happiest out on a hike, walking their dogs, working in a garden, sitting by a body of water, writing and creating art. Their favorite time of year is Autumn, when the leaves are changing colors and it's cold enough for a fuzzy blanket and hot apple cider.
