Birds and Wildlife of India

India has an incredible national park system harboring many wildlife and bird species. During four weeks in India, Pat and Bobbie Wilson visited four of the most spectacular parks for wildlife, plus numerous other wildlife preserves. Find out how India, with a population density 10 times that of the United States, is able to preserve their Bengal tigers, greater one-horned rhinos, Asian lions, sarus and demoiselle cranes and other birds in the wild while supporting local residents through tourism. The Wilson’s have photos of many of the over 300 species of birds seen plus many of the mammals, including Bengal tigers.
