This FREE family-friendly program is part of the Driftless Area BioBlitz series of programs coordinated by The Nature Place. A bioblitz is a community science effort to record species with a designated location and time. Anyone, of any age, and any skill level is invited to help record observations of plants and wildlife in the area yearly.
At this program, our expert will be Dr Barrett Klein from UW-La Crosse, who studies insects. He will help you understand how wonderful and amazing insects are. And then we will look for insects around The Nature Place building. Someone will also be on hand to help you learn how to use the iNaturalist app to record your findings.
