she/her/hers
Amanda grew up in Western Wisconsin, where a love for nature was woven into her everyday life. From camping trips with her family, to summers spent boating on the St. Croix River and visiting her cabin in Grand Marais, MN, Amanda has always felt at home in the outdoors. She is currently pursuing degrees in Accounting and Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, combining analytical skills with a strong interest in how policy shapes our world. Despite her academic focus, Amanda's heart remains rooted in the natural world. Whether hiking through local trails, biking, or simply soaking up the quiet beauty of the woods, she finds joy and peace in being outside year-round. In her free time, Amanda is an avid reader and loves discovering new places to explore. She’s passionate about fostering a connection between people and nature, especially younger generations, and is excited to bring her lifelong love of the outdoors to the team at The Nature Place.
