SUMMARY:Family Fun with The Great Backyard Bird Count
DESCRIPTION:Come with your family and or friends to The Nature Place and he
 lp count in our “backyard”: the La Crosse River Marsh. Join anytime be
 tween 9 - noon on Saturday\, February 17.  No need to sign up\, and no ex
 perience is needed. We will teach you how to do the count in our "backyard
 " and in your backyard. Bring binoculars if you have some and if not\, we 
 will lend you binoculars and have bird lists and field guides you can borr
 ow to help us count.\n\nThe Nature Place partners with the Friends of the
  La Crosse River Marsh yearly to do this count. The Great Backyard Bird Co
 unt ( GBBC ) is a vehicle for monitoring the extent\, health\, and movemen
 t of bird species and populations.
