DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“A Marsh Walk: A Trail Progress Report\
 , Trail Plans and Marsh Critters in Winter”\n\nPlease note the time chan
 ge! We need daylight hours for this program\, and days are short this time
  of year. We hope you can adjust your schedule to join us at this earlier 
 time.\n\n3:00 - 4:00 pm: Marsh Walk and Talk. Cottonwood and Grand Crossin
 g trails\n4:15 pm: Refreshments at The Nature Place\n\nThe walk will allow
  us to see and discuss the recent PAH mitigation\, trail\, and parking lot
  construction at the Cottonwood Trail trailhead. What has been done and wh
 at is still to come. As we proceed down the Cottonwood Trail\, we’ll hav
 e a chance to talk about a future Friends of the Marsh project\, and we ca
 n explore the lives of marsh bugs\, mammals\, and amphibians during winter
 . On the Grand Crossing Trail\, we’ll highlight the buckthorn removal we
  have accomplished this year and talk about the upcoming reconstruction of
  this trail.The walk covers approximately a mile. Meet at The Nature Place
 . Dress for conditions. Wear appropriate shoes/boots. We’ll warm up in T
 he Nature Place with refreshments when we’re done.\n\nEnviro-Wednesdays 
 is co-hosted by The Nature Place and Friends of the La Crosse River Marsh.
  These programs are scheduled on the first Wednesday of every month. Every
 one is welcome. Children should be accompanied by adults.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
