Different topics and speakers every month!\n\nThis month’s presentation:
“Driftless Birds\,”  A Presentation by Craig Thompson (WIDNR)\n\nN
orth America has lost more than 3 billion birds since 1970.  Despite wide
spread population declines\, the Driftless Area continues to support conti
nentally important populations of migratory birds.  Driftless Birds was
established in 2024 to keep our woods and wetlands filled with birdsong.
This presentation will examine the reasons behind the losses and offer op
portunities to engage in collaborative conservation on behalf of our belo
ved birds.\n\nSee more about Driftless Birds at https://driftlessbirds.
org\n\nAlso this month everyone is welcome to the annual meeting of the Fr
iends of the La Crosse River Marsh.  Refreshments will be served.
