SUMMARY:FREE Family Fun at Driftless Area BioBlitz
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2025 Driftless Area BioBlitz (DABB)! At these 
 FREE events\, experts from our community will be leading field expeditions
  to teach about specific topics in nature. Each event starts with a brief 
 education about their topic\, and then we will go out into the field to id
 entify what we've learned about. Some events will be at The Nature Place a
 nd some off-site.\nTopic for the event this Saturday\, May 17 at The Natur
 e Place is Birds of the Driftless. Craig Thompson\, ornithologist and reti
 red from the WI DNR\, will talk about how amazing birds are\, how to obser
 ve birds and help protect them. All ages and skill levels are welcome to l
 earn\, observe\, and explore with us! We use iNaturalist to identify and u
 pload images to a community science database. Add your observations to iNa
 turalist and or to your own personal passport that we provide. Get a stick
 er and a button and help us add more community scientists to DABB!
