SUMMARY:Driftless Area BioBlitz - Incredible Insects FREE Family Program
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2026 Driftless Area BioBlitz (DABB)! At these
FREE events\, experts from our community will be leading field expeditio

f education about their topic\, and then we will go out into the field to
identify what we’ve learned about. Some events will be at The Nature Pla
ce and some off-site.\nTopic for the DABB event this Saturday\, September
12\, at The Nature Place will be incredible insects. Barrett Klein\, UW
 – La Crosse professor and entomologist extraordinaire\, will talk about
insects\, and then you can look for some yourself. All ages and skill leve
ls are welcome to learn\, observe\, and explore with us! We use iNaturalis
t to identify and upload images to a community science database. Add your
observations to iNaturalist and or to your own personal passport that we p
rovide. Get a sticker and a button and help us add more community scientis
 ts to DABB.
